Former CBN Governor Soludo’s father kidnapped

Professor Chukwuma Soludo, was yesterday deepened, as his 78-year-old father, Pa Simeon Soludo, was kidnapped in his home town, Isu-Ofia, in Ekwuluobia, Aguata Local Government Area of the state.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Chukwuemeka Emeka, and the Divisional Police Office of the area, Mr. Bang confirmed the incident to Vanguard. Emeka said Policemen have been dispatched to the area to investigate the circumstances leading to the kidnap of the septuagenarian.

This is coming even as 15 governorship aspirants of the party in the state, yesterday, in Awka, insisted that they would not accept the candidature of the former Central Bank governor, saying he is a stranger to the party.

      means someone in their seventies.
