[Side Note:] Till this day, I still love this collage (above). How are you all doing? Friday’s Fashion Fix is here once again with AKEYNO, a brand of handmade earrings, bracelets, necklaces and recently handbags. The Maryland based designer and a student of Howard University, Yinka Oni-Orisan, named the line after her middle name Onyeka and spelled it backwards to give you Akeyno. She has sold many of her jewelry at shows and festivals including Fest Africa in Baltimore, Maryland. I’ve bought her earrings and even those waist beads that I was infatuated with. Take a look at her creations. You’ll be glad you did.
