The Falconets made history after beating Colombia 1-0 to reach the final of the Women’s World Cup in Germany.

Ebere Orji scored the only goal of the game in the second minute.

Nigeria is the first African team to reach the final of the Under-20 Women’s World Cup, bringing success to the soccer loving nation after the below par performance of the Super Eagles at the recently concluded World Cup in South Africa.

The Falconets will play Germany in Sunday’s final after the host nation ousted South Korea 5-1 in the other semi-final.

Congrats to the Super Falconets.
