…
There are no set of rules or manuals attached to our umbilical cord during birth to guide our journey through this life, but passing on the few lessons I have learnt during my time here should serve as rod & staff to your path. If I had known these things at an early stage in life, I will definitely be in a much better place. If you adhere to these instructions my child, you are assured a little more stable life.
- Acknowledge there are supernatural forces, understand and recognize there is a God…
- Thank God for something everyday; this is the first step to attaining and securing greatness…
- Honor your elders; humble yourself to the toddlers…
- Be fresh, be smooth, be mellow, be spiffy, be clean; cleanliness is next to godliness…
- Impress yourself before you impress anyone…
- Speak your mind at all times and in all situations, but be slow to talk…
- Never abuse yourself by any means. You can’t share or give love that way…
- Seek knowledge, wisdom, and understanding always…
- Cheat or abuse no one. Please please please, break no hearts intentionally…
- Help others when opportune; it has that ripple effect…
- Love your neighbors as yourself, but not to the detriment of your own self. Your Grandfather told me that…
- Be yourself always, there is courage, strength, beauty and pleasure embedded in you…
- Often times, obstacles are challenges leading to a great achievement. Fight hard, and never give up…
- Seek wealth, riches and success, but above all, seek happiness first…
- Never regret anything, rather learn from it…
- Believe in yourself; if it can be thought about, it can be brought about…
- Protect you and yours! Build your own pyramid; construct your own world…
- Owe no one! Help, favors, money, forgiveness, love, amongst others. Owe no one…
- Never settle for mediocre or less, it eventually becomes a habit…
- When you believe in something, be ready and willing to die for it. Be a rebel in your own right…
- Think about the unthinkable, imagine the unimaginable, attempt the impossible; remain weird and unique. Stand out…
- Appearing timid or weak makes you vulnerable. Don’t get preyed on…
- Adore females; they keep the world in motion…
- When you love, express it; only cowards withhold such feeling…
- Everything you’re not makes you everything you are. Never be jealous or envious of another man’s success, Mama Karma don’t like that; instead congratulate and celebrate
- Respect everyone’s ideology, as we are all utterly different and unique…
- Remain alert, study your environment, and surround yourself with positive figures…
- Dance in the Rain, play in the snow, and lay on the beach in the summer time…
- Give benefit of the doubt, but be careful who you trust…
- Tour the world, taste different foods, dance to new music, learn and appreciate the diverse cultures…
- Stay hungry, never be comfortable, neither lazy…
- When you promise, fulfill; your words should remain bond…
- Appear wise only when warranted, the wise are hated the most…
- Empty barrels make the most noise. Never brag over material things; they perish, decay or lose value eventually. Remain substantial and enterprising…
- Tame your tongue; it is your paddle to swim in this sinful world…
- A talent is deposited in you by the most high; find it, work on it, and impact the world positively with it…
- Stressing again, when you find ‘love,’ keep it…
- Again respect humans, but glorify no one…
- When Daddy and Mommy can’t fend for themselves anymore, never neglect them…
- Always remember; Daddy loves and will protect you…
- When in doubt, pray. You will find answers and peace…
- The world is yours, conquer it! Don’t be Afraid!!!
“Like a colleague said, never get high on your own supply;)”
Part II of my legacy will be revealed to you while raising you!
