K-Switch, Davido with Dbanj
This is another big move by Dbanj.
Dbanj starts up new label, Def Jam Africa, and immediately signs bright star Davido to the record label. Def Jam Africa will be the African arm of Island Def Jam.
Davido & Dbanj were spotted a few weeks ago at the Diamonds of Atlanta Strip club in Atlanta GA and little did we know that some things were in the world.
Davido will join Dbanj’s brother K-Switch on Def Jam Africa. Big move from Dbanj. One has to wonder how this will all play out with his Mercury Records UK deal and G.O.O.D Music. Anyway you slice it, it’s a good move for Dbanj.

Smart move for Dbanj…as Mavis signed Tiwa savage, he did his own, so nt to lose touch wit home. But am jst wonderin, Cos right now , Music is comin to Africa( 9ja) and 9ja is da biggest spotlight…dats y d many Collab, frm American Artists (Akon, Shaggy, Kelly,wyclef, Busta…So Dbanj, think twice…
