The worst way to find out that you’ve been dropped from your record label might be hearing about it from the internet. That’s what May D is telling sources as he has learned of his split from Square Records.
Just a few hours ago, Jude Okoye, owner of Square records, announced via a statement that they will no longer be associated or working with May D.
Via theNetNG May D says “I don’t know what they are talking about. You know I don’t stay in their house so how am I meant to know this?“
His associates have also stated that they were not aware of the firing, and also claimed they became aware of it via the internet and social media.
There’s definitely a lot of things weird about this news, and maybe we might get to know what actually happened.
